Jeremy Schmidt's Bio:

I was born and raised in Santa Cruz CA. As far back as I can remember i have been in love with anything with wheels and a motor. Working on my fathers 65' Malibu SS as a child sparked my interest in vehicles and it has been growing ever sense. Tinkering on my cars through High School was a great experience and kept me busy doing the right things. I like to draw as well and after high school was accepted at the San Francisco Academy of Arts for car design. At the last minute I made a life changing decision to not attend and to go into Auto Mechanics. I started work at a locally well known shop as their lot boy parts delivery and in 6 months was moved into the shop to start working on cars. I went to night classes at De Anza College for Automotive for a year and sucked up all the knowledge I could fit in my brain. Loved all of it but felt like there was something missing at the same time. As luck and life would have it I was offered a position at the counter as a service write for the company. I gladly took it for the chance to better improve myself on a different level. From there I never looked back. Service writing came naturally to me and I was still able to work on all the cars I liked! This was perfect! I have enjoyed the career I have chosen and have been doing it now for 10 years. AE Motorsports came to be because of the natural progression of wanting to go further, take the next step and do better. I have worked to polish my skills with cars and people the last 10 years and want to continue for a lifetime. It is a lifestyle for sure and I love it.

Ryan Randall Bio:

Ryan was born in Mountain View CA and shortly after was moved to Minnesota till he was 4. Then back to the west coast he came for obvious reasons :) He ended up landing in Felton and going to school at San Lorenzo Valley High. He also loved anything with wheels and a motor and found Motorcycles at a young age. Though once he got his license cars became his new hobby and he has never looked back. I saw a kid driving into school with a Volvo and thought " Who the heck is this kid with an 82' 240 VOLVO!" Definitely not the cool car to drive in High School. Soon I learned it was no average Volvo and he quickly became apart of the car crowd at SLV High. We have been pals ever since. Ryan went to De Anza College for automotive night classes as well and has 6 out of 8 ASE's. He is working on the last 2 to become a master ASE technician. Ryan has worked as a technician in Santa Cruz for the last 7 years.
